Symbolism
The Worshipful Lodge Caballeros de Memphis No. 50 works the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis in its symbolic dimension, preserving a tradition of Egyptian, hermetic, and initiatic character within a framework of full regularity. Installed on March 10, 2004, our lodge safeguards the degrees of Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of the Dominican Republic.
To maintain the international regularity of our labors, we apply a strict separation of powers. The symbolic lodge works exclusively the first three degrees, while the philosophical degrees belong to another sphere of authority.
The Rite of Memphis preserves a singular identity within the Masonic tradition, marked by symbolic references to ancient Egypt, a hermetic sensitivity, and a strong initiatic dimension.
The Patent Charter of Caballeros de Memphis No. 50, bearing the installation date of March 10, 2004, expresses the juridical and historical foundation of our existence and attests to the regular birth of the lodge.
